Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms are an agreement between you and ARX Technologies LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”), which operates ScrollFoods. They apply to the ScrollFoods app and scrollfoods.com. By creating an account or using ScrollFoods, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Who can use ScrollFoods
You must be at least 13 years old to use ScrollFoods. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else, or a business you don’t represent.
- Business accounts must be run by, or with permission from, the business they represent.
- Tell us at support@scrollfoods.com if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Your content
You own the videos, captions and comments you post (“your content”). You’re responsible for it, and you must have the rights to everything in it, including music, people and other material that appears.
License to us. So we can run ScrollFoods, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example, resize or transcode), display, distribute and promote your content, in the app, on scrollfoods.com and in ScrollFoods’ own marketing, and to let other people using ScrollFoods view and share it within the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content was already shared by others, is kept as described in the Privacy Policy (for example, copies kept in reports), or we must keep it by law.
4. Content and conduct rules
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don’t post, comment or behave in a way that includes:
- Spam, scams, or misleading promotions.
- Sexual content or nudity.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on who someone is.
- Violence, or dangerous or illegal activity.
- False or misleading information about a place, such as tagging a video to the wrong place on purpose.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
- Anyone’s private information without their permission.
- Anything involving the sexual exploitation of minors. We report it to the authorities.
Also don’t misuse the service: no hacking, scraping, automated accounts, or getting around a block or a ban.
5. Reporting, blocking and moderation
You can report videos, comments and accounts in the app, and block accounts. Reports go to the ScrollFoods team. The person you report is never told who reported them. See Support for how.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or put people at risk, with or without notice. We aren’t required to review all content, and we may act on content we find ourselves or that is reported to us.
6. Places
Place listings come from Foursquare Open Source Places and from places people add. Listings and videos may be out of date or wrong, so check hours, prices and details with the place before you go. Directions may open a maps app run by someone else, under its own terms.
7. Copyright and intellectual property
If you believe content on ScrollFoods infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to legal@scrollfoods.com with: your contact information; the work you say is infringed; where the content is on ScrollFoods (for example, a link or the username and video); a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized; a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you’re the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. You can also use the “Intellectual property” reason when reporting in the app.
We remove infringing content and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
ScrollFoods, its logo and the app belong to ARX Technologies LLC. These terms don’t give you any right to use them except as part of using the service.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using ScrollFoods and delete your account at any time. See Delete your account. We may suspend or end your access as described in section 5. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 3, 7 and 9 to 12) continue after your account ends.
9. Disclaimers
ScrollFoods is provided “as is” and “as available”. Videos and places come from users and third parties, and we don’t guarantee they are accurate. We don’t endorse any place, business or creator.
10. Limitation of liability
11. Indemnification
12. Governing law and disputes
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using ScrollFoods after that, you accept the new terms.
